This award is given to the young researchers who deliver the best presentation at each year’s annual meeting of The RNA Society of Japan (RNAJ). All oral and poster presentations by graduate and undergraduate students will be eligible for nomination for the awards.
Selection process
A Judging Committee made up of fellows and members of the annual meeting committee watches all the presentations by RNAJ Student Members and decides on the winners in two categories; AOBA Prize (Best presentation award for the young scientist) and Excellent Research Award. Winners will be displayed on the RNAJ website.
AOBA Prize (Best presentation award for the young scientist)
: one or two winners
AOBA Prize will provide a commemorative certificate and travel support to the winners who will be presenting research findings at an international meeting. After the international meeting, awardees are required to submit a report on their attendance at the international meeting to the RNAJ Newsletter. Awardees are also requested to attend the award ceremony and present the award-winning research at the next year’s annual meeting of RNAJ.
Excellent Research Award
: 4~8 winners
This award consists of a commemorative certificate.
Winners of Excellent Research Award before FY2017 were not given the certificate. Please contact us if you request an issue of the certificate.
