The president of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) asks the President of the RNA Society of Japan to nominate an outstanding doctoral student who can be expected to contribute to Japan’s future scientific advancement for the 13th (FY2022) JSPS Ikushi Prize. Student Members are encouraged to apply for the nominee.

2. Eligibility

Applicants must be Student Members of the RNA Society of Japan at the time of Application and Nomination. They must be enrolled in a University doctoral program on 1 May, 2021 and be under 34 years of age on 1 April, 2021.
Overseas Student Members enrolled in University doctoral programs in Japan are also eligible.

3. Number of Nominees

Maximum number of successful applicants nominated by the President of the Society: 1
The Nominee shall be selected by the pre-selection committee.

4. Application Forms

Download and complete the following Application Forms (in Japanese) in MS Word format and convert them to PDF format. Applicants should submit their application forms via the JSPS Ikushi Prize Application page. （2）推薦理由書A，B（Form 3）can be sent by the writers as an attachment file of an E-mail to the General Affairs Secretary.
